Reposted and assembled from Michael Ruocco's thread at https://twitter.com/AGuyWhoDraws/status/1415172420785229824 with additional video comparisons of his storyboards with the finished animation for more context when appropriate. Spoiler Warning!
I based the bunny in my boards off the classic 30's Disney-style bunny (ie Little Hiawatha/Snow White), knowing one of the designers will do something more unique and cute with it. In this case it was the master Dan Haskett, who made something even more sugary n' cavity-inducing.
I always thought Beaky was one of the more honest and earnest characters in Looney Tunes. He wants to be a good buzzard and make his Mama proud of him, but at heart he's a big dumb softie...
...which, of course, in the world of Looney Tunes, is not allowed without immediate retaliation.
I loved posing out the Beaky Bunny's little excited jig here before he tugs Beaky off. And the bunny was wonderfully voiced by Eric Bauza.
